Career-oriented Mallory is the executive of a cosmetic company. She goes to Lisbon on vacation and, the day she arrives, saves the life of a little girl. The girl's father, Rafael, is the representative of a distinguished family, the D'Afonsos. He is arrogant and coercive and...unbelievably handsome. He is also looking for somebody to take care of his daughter. But when Mallory accepts the job, she finds out that he also expects her to marry him!

I don't usually not like an HQ when the story is good but it sucks when we don't know what happened to her career in the end

What about her job tho? Anyway this is the first time I've read a story where the FL and ML didn't say “I love u”

I dont like the fact that he wasn't the one who came back to her and he didn't even say "I love you". He wasn't a jerk but I still don't like him

It's sweet until it's meh. I hate how this portrayed a career woman that she have to give up her personality for love.

I hate the message, she's not selfish, and in any case she could have just shut up that stupid guy using the cosmetic being married so her original intension would have been true, that women use make up for themselfs more than for other, specially men.

Whirlwind… and I agree with others, what about her job? She had to return to deal with it regardless. That isn’t selfish that is maturity.
