What a load of bull from Osiris. Some people marry out of personal gain, some out of love--in which case the satisfaction of being beside that special person is a consequence, not the goal. He can't accuse Seth of not loving his wife just because he felt satisfaction in his role of husband and parent. That's sophistry.
i started reading this because of the yaoi tag and i don't know what i got myself into... i feel tricked yet i cannot seem to stop reading this glorious mess
Just from the events that take place in myths and legends about gods you know they're f*cked up but now abstracts like their emotions and thought processes have been added...Good gosh my head🤦♀️and I know it's just gonna get more messed up
Ah yes, they targeted the controversy regarding love. If one does not benefit you anymore, you leave them. How comical. I mean when you're in a relationship, always fighting and arguing leads to a debacle. Such is love: deep, complicated, passionate, perplexing, diverse. Ultimately, what we actually love is ourselves. I don't know, who am I to tell these things? Hahahaha. Ah, but in this context, Osiris is only brainwashing Seth so.. What I said is purely logical and practical
This panels feels so somber. At that moment, Seth is looking at Osiris not as his assailant but as the brother he knew. And despite what Osiris did to him, that drove him to almost commit suicide, he is still holding onto him as a brother (look at their friendly banter at how Seth was able to outsmart Osiris). He wants to find out why Osiris did what he did, bec Seth couldnt believe it was an act of love. It has to be something else, and he couldnt understand why his brother would do that to him.
