And this is the most intriguing part of this manga. The fact that you can throw everything you can at it, but none of it works. Because unless you pass the trial, majiks are literally invincible. Makes sense because as sentient as they are, as corporeal as they are, they are still just magic. In other words, they are just energy. You can't kill energy, merely change its form.
