I wonder what would have happened if the FL accepted the way the ML was treating her and just let him leave in the morning and tell her what to do at work; would he have bothered changing if the status quo kept him comfy? Much to ponder.

Its a decent story with a happy ending and that's one of the things dislike about this kind of HQ. BBV (Bed Before Vows), based on RL statistics, has been shown have a detrimental affect on marriage length and satisfaction, so I don't like seeing it made to look so positive. I wish that wasn't the case, but it just is.
