I'm not sure I liked that he purposed before the divorce was final, but we certainly knew it was coming.
I'm not sure how a mother could abandon her child, treat her so incidentally for a year, and then complain about not having a relationship with her. She clearly never heard the parental rule that the way kids spell love is T-I-M-E.
I was seriously happy to see the FL chewing out the mother.

The nice touch was the kid not calling the FL mom but "mama ursula", which is good because the mom is very much still alive and the kid has years before she can work out (through therapy) if she ever wants to call her that again or go by first name instead.

I'm not sure if ML really loved FL... I think he saw her as convenient. A lot of time passed, but we didn't see his love groing...

Story is kinda meh for me

I don’t see any live or affection between them. It’s kinda she is a nice tool for a ml rather than a lover
