Nayul is a girl who would be really happy with a desk calendar as a gift, and yet he treated her like garbage. He wouldn't even take her to a coffee date just because he doesn't want to pay for it. It's not like this man is poor, he's a cheap bastard who thinks that's all she deserves. Even broke students will work hard to take their partners on a cute coffee date or two. This is why you do not tell prospective dates that you don't take much to please even though it's true, a lot of these asshole will take advantage of you.
That cop talking about how her ex is a poor young man and how he should have his future protected makes me sick. How about you quit protecting him and start protecting the victim? 🤬
The cop is the most disgusting filth out of this whole chapter. There are men who take the time to rape and beat women but the ones who protect them are no better. Protecting their buddies, the good guy! Can't ruin your reputation. The reality is if you're a women or LGBTQ in a situation where you are a victim, the perpetrator will be protected before the victim. Laws protect men and keep them powerful as long as you're straight and you play the game. Keep quiet. Ignore the signs. The amount of fuckery that happens when someone you care about becomes a victim is unimaginable. They suffer as badly as the initial crime and there is no sense of justice if you do win, because people online are lighting them up as the criminal. But still - just a small mistake.
