MC is op, but still has to work for it. He's ruthless, but doesn't seem overly sadistic. The action is well-choreographed. And it's funny. Highly recommend.

It's so refreshing to read this. There's no need to feel frustrated over the MC being naive or whatnot because he's not. He's OP, a total BAMF, and is absolutely ruthless. He also has an obsession with kimchi stew lol As for romance, there's mentions of it but it doesn't go anywhere or progress as of S1 End.
Idk whether to rate this a 9 or a 10. Every time you see (soft spoiler, not really a detail but an overall thing but it can still change your outlook as you read so.. your choice) a classic scenario for a cliche it doesn't capitalize on it. Oh my god a story sans all of the cliche scenarios already has me juiced. Like in scenarios where it's like "well in every single other thing I've read this happens next" (like an interruption) but it doesn't happen.
And then, and THEN, you get this two faced (quite literally as he has an angelic, unassuming look and an evil, demonic look), guy who seems genuinely caring about mankind but when he's evil... you really get to see just how twisted his moral values have gotten during his 10 millennia in hell and it just gets more and more evil as time goes on but you always see in between him being genuinely kind again so you have this perfect fucking duality in the character. This is.. so rare. I mean you might have a chaotic good character like in Disaster Class Hero sure, and you have true (surreptitiously) evil like in How to Live as a Villain but this dude... This... dude... has duality. He legitimately exists on multiple spectrums and at least for me, I haven't seen that. Plus, can I just say that I REALLY LOVE the fact that all of his skills are "Authorities"? I mean, how utterly fitting is that? Plus, it's just really cool. It's not just being able to wield or do something it's that. So really... This is... sooo goooooddddddd.The reason I'm hesitant to land that 10 is that it feels like it's missing something as of rn but I can't even place what that something could be. Like some moments just fall flat for me. But well, I'm only on ch 37 before I got overcome with the need to write this so we'll see.
MC is deliciously evil. So if you don’t want that, don’t read it. He has almost no morales. He’s selfish and cunning. This isn’t one of those revenge stories where his evil is justified. He only pursues what he wants; everything and everyone else can get dicked. He doesn’t care.
I love it. He doesn’t waver. He’s really evil lol but not like ew evil. You know?
MC is so ruthless bruh, like im just sitting here and giggling at all the things he does. Everything about this is refreshing and I really enjoyed reading it!
